1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how CareYourBusiness ("we", "us") handles two different kinds of data: (a) information about the businesses ("Tenants") that create an account with us, and (b) information Tenants' own customers provide when they place an order, book an appointment, or make an inquiry on a Tenant's site.

For (a), CareYourBusiness is the data controller. For (b), the Tenant is the data controller of their own customers' information -- CareYourBusiness processes it on the Tenant's behalf, to operate the site the Tenant asked us to build.

2. Information we collect

From a Tenant account holder:

• Name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
• Business details you provide during setup -- business name, address, contact info, and the products, services, or content you add to your site.
• Billing information, handled directly by our payment processor -- we don't store your card details ourselves.

From a Tenant's own customers (collected on the Tenant's behalf, when they check out, book, or submit an inquiry on a Tenant's site):

• Name, contact details, and delivery address, as needed to fulfill an order or booking.
• Order or appointment details.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Operate your account and your site -- authentication, hosting your content, and running the features you use (catalog, orders, bookings).
• Send transactional emails -- order confirmations, booking notifications, account and billing notices.
• Process payments, through our payment processor.
• Maintain the security and reliability of the platform.
• Respond to support requests.

We do not sell any Tenant's or Tenant customer's personal information to third parties.

4. Data isolation between businesses

CareYourBusiness is a multi-tenant platform -- many businesses run their sites on shared infrastructure. Each Tenant's data (their business content and their own customers' records) is isolated at the database level so that one Tenant can never see another Tenant's data, including through the platform's own admin tools, except for the narrow, logged cases where our own support staff must access it to resolve an issue you've raised.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers that help us run the platform, each bound to protect it:

• Payment processing (Razorpay) -- to process online payments and, where enabled, settle funds to a Tenant's own account.
• Email delivery (Resend) -- to send transactional emails on your or your customers' behalf.
• Cloud infrastructure (our hosting and database providers) -- to store and serve your site and data securely.

We don't share data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Data retention

We keep account and site data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your site is taken offline but your data is retained for a period in case you reactivate, after which it's deleted. If you request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data, we'll carry that out, subject to any records we're legally required to retain (for example, transaction records for tax purposes).

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, or request deletion of your account information at any time from your dashboard, or by contacting us directly. If you're a Tenant's customer and want your information removed from a specific Tenant's site, please contact that business directly first, since they control their own customer records -- we're glad to help if that doesn't resolve it.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences (like your shopping cart on a Tenant's site). We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children's privacy

CareYourBusiness is intended for use by business owners and their adult customers. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to how we handle your data, we'll notify you by email or through your dashboard before it takes effect.
